Tyrepower appointed Supercars Championship Official Tyre Retailer

Tyrepower has extended its involvement with Australia’spremier motorsport category with the signing of an exclusive partnership withthe Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.

Australia’s largest independent tyre retailer, Tyrepower hasbecome Supercars’  ‘Official Tyre Retailer’until the end of 2018 in a deal that enhances its existing commitment to thesport.

“Our decade-long involvement in Supercar racing has been agreat way for us to enhance our brand awareness and engage with the Supercarsaudience,” Tyrepower Chief Executive Officer David Wilson said.

“Becoming the Official Tyre Retailer for Supercars createsfurther opportunities for the business to build on those initiatives, andenables us to engage in some more effective inter-active marketing.

“Ultimately, for Tyrepower it’s all about the quality of theproducts and services we deliver to our customers and our enhanced involvementin Supercars will help us communicate that message to a very car-savvy audience.”

Supercars Australia Managing Director Matt Braid said thatexpanding the partnership with Tyrepower was great for the sport as itcontinues to build into the future.

“Supercars is all about long-term relationships, and the onewith Tyrepower is a decade strong now,” said Braid.

“Being able to expand that relationship for Tyrepower tobecome one of our Official Partners shows the trust Tyrepower hold in ourbrand, and the strength of the sport.”

Tyrepower’s new partnership brings with it high profilebranding at every round of the Virgin Australia Supercar Championship, as wellas Supercars marketing and promotional rights and several other internalbenefits.

That’s in addition to Tyrepower’s existing naming-rights sponsorship of the Tyrepower Tasmania Supersprint round annually, and its support for the infamous Tyrepower Cutting corner, at Bathurst’s iconic Mt Panorama track.

Craig Lowndes, Supercar’s most popular, successful and recognised driver, is also the Tyrepower brand ambassador.
